A quorum of the Haywood County Board of Commissioners will be attending State Leadership Day on Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at the White House in Washington, D.C.
State Leadership Day is hosted by the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and is designed for county and municipal officials and will include briefings and discussion with Senior Administrational Officials on shared federal-state-local priorities pertinent to the respective states. It is also an opportunity to meet members of the Intergovernmental Affairs team across the federal government who are the primary points of contact for issues important to the County.
