[ARCHIVED] Commissioners Seek TDA Board Applicants Representing 20 Units or More

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill one vacancy on the Tourism Development Authority Board.

The vacancy is for one individual representing accommodations of 20 units or more. Once appointed, the individual would be fulfilling an unexpired term through December 31, 2023, at which point they will be eligible for reappointment to a full three-year term.

The deadline for applications is Friday, July 7, 2023 at 5 p.m.

Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website at https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Historic Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville. Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov
