A quorum of the Haywood County Board of Commissioners will be attending an informational public meeting on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 6:00 pm at the Center Pigeon Fire Department, 2412 Pisgah Drive, Canton, NC.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the change of various properties within the area to an ISO 5 rating, the positive impact in fire insurance rates, and proposed expansion of the fire district to include the affected properties.
There will be no official Haywood County business conducted at this meeting.
