[ARCHIVED] ETJ Applicants Sought for Clyde Planning and Zoning Boards

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill two extra-territorial jurisdiction alternate positions; one on the Clyde Board of Zoning Adjustments and one on the Clyde Planning Board.

The Clyde Board of Zoning Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board that meets at 7 pm on the 2nd Tuesday every other month. The Clyde Planning Board meets the first Tuesday of each quarter at 6 pm. Members are appointed to three-year terms. For more information about the powers and duties of the Clyde Planning Board at https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/256/Clyde-Planning-Board

The Volunteer Board Applicant Form may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I  or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.  

Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov.

These positions are open until filled.
