[ARCHIVED] Farmer sought to serve on Haywood County Planning Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants for a position on the Haywood County Planning Board. The position is for an active farmer who is a full-time Haywood County resident. The individual selected will fulfill a three-year term that begins upon appointment.  At the end of the three-year term, they will be eligible for a second three-year term.

Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website (https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I ) or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.  

 Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov.
