[ARCHIVED] Seeking Engineer Candidates for Health and Human Services Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill the following position on the Haywood County Health and Human Services Agency Board:

 An engineer member, to begin serving August, 2022.  Requirements for the position are that the candidate have qualifications as an engineer and reside in Haywood County.  Current and retired engineers are encouraged to apply.  The candidate will be filling a 4 year term that expires in August 2026.   At that time, first-term candidates will be eligible to reapply for a second four-year term.  The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2022. 

The Health and Human Services Agency Board meets the third Tuesday of each month (except July and December) at 6 pm at Health and Human Services.  For more information about the duties and authorities of the HHSA Board, visit: https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/261/Health-Human-Services-Agency-Board

The Volunteer Board Applicant Form may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.  

 Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov .
