[ARCHIVED] Adult Care Home Advisory Committee - Applicants Sought

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications to fill three vacancies on the Adult Care Home Advisory Committee.  The advisory committee serves to ensure quality care for elderly and disabled adults placed in long-term care facilities.

The vacancies are for members to serve an initial one-year term once appointments are made. Upon completion of the first term, members are eligible for additional 3-year terms. Applicants must be full-time residents of Haywood County.

The Volunteer Board Applicant Form may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/9/How-Do-I or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville.  

Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov .
