[ARCHIVED] Additional Applicant Sought for Haywood County Planning Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking an additional at-large applicant to serve on the Haywood County Planning Board.  Combined with previously-posted vacancies, this brings the total number of applicants sought for the Haywood County Planning Board to four. 

Two positions are for active farmers, and two are at-large positions. All applicants must be Haywood County residents.  The two farmer positions will be fulfilling non-expired terms through 8-19-22, at which point they will be eligible for additional three-year terms. One at-large position will be starting a three-year term upon appointment, while the second will be fulfilling a non-expired term through 2/3/23, at which point they will be eligible for an additional three-year term. 

Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I…Submit Volunteer Board or Committee Application” section of the county website https://www.haywoodcountync.gov/230/Boards-Commissions-A---H or picked up from the County Manager’s office from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, at the Haywood County Courthouse, third floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville. 

Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Amy Stevens, Deputy Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, at amy.stevens@haywoodcountync.gov.
