[ARCHIVED] HC Commissioners are seeking applications for the HHSA Board

Applicants sought for Health and Human Services Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill the following position on the Haywood County Health and Human Services Agency Board of Directors:

One member representing the general public, to begin serving November 16, 2020.   Requirements for the position are that candidates reside in Haywood County. The candidates will be filling a 4 year term that expires November 16, 2024.  At that time, first-term candidates will be eligible to reapply for a second four-year term, while second-term candidates will cycle off the Board, as members may only serve two consecutive four-year terms.

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., October 16, 2020.  Application forms may be downloaded from the Online Services section of the County website, www.haywoodcountync.gov; or picked up from the County Manager’s Office, Haywood County Courthouse, Third Floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Tracy Wells, tracy.wells@haywoodcountync.gov.
