[ARCHIVED] Applicants sought for Health and Human Services Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill the following position on the Haywood County Health and Human Services Agency Board of Director 

  • A physician member, to begin serving May 19, 2019. Requirements for the position are that the candidate must be a physician currently licensed to practice and actively practicing in the State of North Carolina, and must reside in Haywood County. Qualified professionals are encouraged to apply. The candidate will be filling a 4 year term that expires May 19, 2023, at which point the candidate, if interested, may apply for a second term of 4 years.

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., March 8, 2019. Application forms may be downloaded from the Online Services section of the county website; or picked up from the County Manager’s Office, Haywood County Courthouse, Third Floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Candace Way,
