[ARCHIVED] Applicants sought for Health and Human Services Board

The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill the following positions on the Haywood County Health and Human Services Agency Board of Directors:

  • A Registered Nurse member, to begin serving April 22, 2019.  Requirements for the position are that the candidate must be a Registered Nurse and must reside in Haywood County.  Qualified professionals and retirees are encouraged to apply.  

The candidate will be filling a 4 year term that expires April 22, 2023.  At that time, candidates will be eligible to reapply for a second four-year term.

  • A licensed Psychologist member, to begin serving April 22, 2019.  Requirements for the position are that the candidate must be a licensed Psychologist and must reside in Haywood County.  Qualified professionals and retirees are encouraged to apply.  The candidate will be filling a 4 year term that expires April 22, 2023.  At that time, candidates will be eligible to reapply for a second four-year term.

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., February 22, 2019.  Application forms may be downloaded from the Online Services section of the county website, www.haywoodcountync.gov; or picked up from the County Manager’s Office, Haywood County Courthouse, Third Floor, 215 North Main Street, Waynesville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications may be returned to the County Manager’s Office or attached to an email to Candace Way, candace.way@haywoodcountync.gov
