The Haywood County Board of Commissioners are seeking applicants for the 2020 Board of Equalization & Review
The purpose of the Board of E&R is to hear appeals to the value placed on real property for the 2020 tax year. The board will hear appeals based on a meeting schedule by the Board of Commissioners. The Board of E&R has seven vacancies. Application forms may be downloaded from the “How Do I” section of the county website, www.haywoodcountync.gov; or picked up from the County Manager’s Office, Haywood County Courthouse, Third Floor, 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Completed applications may be returned to the County Managers Office or attached to an email to Candace Way at Candace.way@haywoodcountync.gov.
