Purpose: Southwestern NC HOME Consortium’s Plan Amendments
The public is hereby notified that the Haywood County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The hearing is regarding the Southwestern NC HOME Consortium’s 2021 & 2022 Annual Action Plan Amendments, developed in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirements. The proposed Annual Action Plans can be viewed on the Southwestern Commission’s website at: https://regiona.org/southwestern-nc-home-consortium/. The purpose of this hearing is to give the public a chance to share their opinion. Please contact LeNay Shular at lenay@regiona.org or 828-586-1962 ext. 218 with any questions or comments.
The public is also invited to provide comments on the Plan Amendments during a 30-day comment period, from March 3, 2026, to April 2, 2026.
