[ARCHIVED] Notice of Lease of County Property

Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-272 and N.C.G.S. 153A-176, please take notice that the Haywood County Board of Commissioners shall take action regarding the authorization to enter into a lease of the following county owned property:  Being that property located at 1207 East Street/307 Broadview Road, Waynesville, North Carolina, parcel #8615-79-8012, consisting of a two story brick/block building (1207 East Street) and a one story lap siding building (307 Broadview Road) with parking areas.

The County shall take action regarding the authorization of the lease for the county owned property to Meridian Behavioral Health Services, Inc. for a term of five (5) years.  In consideration of the lease, Meridian Behavioral Health Services, Inc. will pay Haywood County a one-time rental rate of $10.00.  The lease may be renewed for an additional term of five (5) years at the same one-time rental rate.

All persons interested in this lease are invited to attend the meeting of the Board of County Commissioners to be held on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Historic Courtroom of the Haywood County Historic Courthouse located at 215 N. Main Street, Waynesville, North Carolina 28786.  At that time the board shall take action regarding the authorization of the lease of the property described above.
