The Haywood County Board of Commissioners is seeking applicants to fill one at-large position on the Haywood County Recreation Advisory Board. The Recreation Advisory Board provides a forum for citizens suggestions or concerns, advises staff on community recreation needs, and makes the staff of the Recreation and Parks Department aware of and sensitive to public needs. Members are appointed to 3 year terms. Upon completion of the term, appointees serving their first term are eligible to reappointment to a second three-year term. The deadline for applications is 5:00 p.m., September 30, 2024.
