Request approval of Agreement and funding for Home and Community Block Grant funding for FY 2020-2021 including reallocation of funds from Interim Health Care to Region A Agency on Aging in the amount of $22,547.65

General Fund - Public Safety - EMS - $12,695 - grant funding from the NC Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Management for EMGP - supplement grant for Emergency Management funding for EM personnel in response to COVID-19

General Fund - Public Safety Grants - $153,363 - to appropriate budget to FY 2021 from revenue not spent in FY 2020 for the Arrest Grant for Improving Criminal Justice Responses

c.

General Fund - Public Safety - EMS - $10,000 - to appropriate grant funds from Dogwood Health Trust for two (2) $5,000 grants: Strike Team Grant to purchase medical supplies and PPE Distribution Grant for distribution of PPE to support prevention of COVID-19 outbreaks in Long Term Care facilities

d.

General Fund - Public Safety - Sheriff's Office - $21,345 - to appropriate budget to FY 2021 from revenue not spent in FY 2020 for Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant

General Fund - Public Safety - Sheriff's Office - $141,964 - to appropriate budget to FY 2021 for Federal Share of year three (3) of COP's Grant

f.

General Fund - NC Extension Office - $2,146 - to appropriate to FY 2021 from revenue not spent in FY 2020 for Cherokee Preservation Foundation Grant

g.

General Fund - Title III - Older Americans Act - $197,187 - to appropriate the amount of the CARES and Families First funding that will be passing through the County to cover Aging Services at the County, Mountain Projects and the Area Agency on Aging

h.

General Fund - Public Safety - Sheriff's Office - $6,736 - to appropriate the balance of the revenue collected from the illegal gambling equipment seizures in the last two (2) years to cover computer and safety equipment for the Sheriff's Office

Request approval to accept and appropriate donation funds from Friends of Haywood County Animal Shelter to the Facilities and Maintenance Department in the amount of $7,450 for the cost of equipment and supplies to construct a dog walking trail at Haywood County Animal Services - Animal Services Director Howard Martin

Request approval of 2019 Settlement of Collections - Tax Collector Greg West

Request approval of recommendation by the Addressing Office to name a private road "Amity Lane" - GIS Coordinator John Kidd

Request approval to appropriate $25,000 from Contingency Fund to the Facilities and Maintenance Department and approve the County Manager to execute all documentation necessary to repair HVAC system damaged by lightning at the Health and Human Services Agency building - County Manager Bryant Morehead

5.

Request approval of Responder Support Services contract in the amount of $68,750 and to appropriate $51,875 from Contingency Fund to the Human Resources Department and approve the County Manager to sign contract - County Manager Bryant Morehead
