Request approval of budget amendments:

a.

General Fund - Library - $2,500 mini grant to cover costs of reopening to the public in a way that will reduce the impact of COVID-19

b.

General Fund - JCPC - HIGHTS program - $3,600 - to reflect the additional state revenue allocated to the program in discretionary funds. This does not require a county match

c.

General Fund - Public Safety - $450,000 - from the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) established under the CARES Act to cover expenses directly related to addressing the COVID-19 pandemic

d.

General Fund - Public Safety - Detention - $119,500 - from contingency and jail fees - to cover increased costs of inmate medical, food, janitorial supplies and transport

Request approval to award bid to Haynes Firestop for the Law Enforcement Center Firewall Project in the amount of $69,566 to be paid from budgeted funds for this fiscal year and approval for County Manager to approve and execute all documentation pertaining to said project - Operations Director Kris Boyd

Request approval of Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Canton and Haywood County for funding of $25,000 from budgeted funds for this fiscal year for the development of a trail design plan for the Chestnut Mountain Outdoor Recreation Park and approval for County Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding - Program Administrator David Francis
