Members
The Council consists of 13 members and includes the:
- Haywood County Recreation and Parks Director
- A representative from the Haywood County Health Department
- One representative from each of the incorporated towns in Haywood County
- One representative from Lake Junaluska Assembly
- One representative from each of the following organizations:
- Blue Ridge Bicycle Club
- Haywood Waterways Association
- Richland Creek Action Committee
- Southwestern NC RC&D Council
- Two at-large representatives appointed by the Board of Commissioners
