Adult Sports

The Recreation and Parks Department offers seasonally: 

^{shuffleboard at Lake Junaluska, Croquet at Allens Creek Park, Table Tennis, Cornhole and Badminton at the Old Hazelwood Gym beside Folkmoot on Virginia Ave. Local fly fishing meetups are also offered. These are free to the public.}

Haywood and Jackson Counties will be hosting a  combined County Tournament the first two weeks of February.

• Registration opens January 2 and is free to all participants. 
• Games played will be Pickleball, Cornhole and Table Tennis.

Indoor Pick-Up Soccer

Fast paced pick-up games! Players divide into teams and rotate play throughout the 2-hour session. Standard indoor rules apply.

• Location: Old Hazelwood Gym, 112 Virginia Avenue (next to Folkmoot in Waynesville)
• Day/Time:  Wednesdays, January 8th through March 11, 2020, 6-8 pm 
• Ages: 18 and up
• Fee:  $3 per session or $20 season pass 

Outdoor Open Adult Soccer Leagues

Recreational play ages 18 and up. Beginners welcome! Individual players - contact office for placement.

• Summer: June - July   •   Fall: September - October 
• Fee: Varies per season and number of games
• Location: Allens Creek Park, Waynesville
• 7 -man team; maximum roster 13 players
• Standing scores kept with end-of-season tournament
